Ooppsssssss sorry, I know I said I would post more on Friday but Friay turned into Saturday and then Saturday turned into Sunday and now here we are on Tuesday and I am just now posting these, I don't know where the time goes. Here are a couple f my favorite :)

I will be posting some more pics of Katelyn Leigh on Friday. I have a lot of really cute ones and can't wait for you to see :) Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be out of the office all day in case you can't reach me. I will be spending the day at the spa and then to dinner with my hubby! It is my 40Th birthday and I am happier now than I ever was in my 20's :) Life is good but God is GREAT! Blessings to all!

Leah

Leah has been here since Saturday. Me and my BFF and her daughter and her grand baby all loaded up and went to Dallas to pick up the girls and while we were there we met up with a couple of friends and went to Grapevine Mills Mall. We had a great time and it was good to be just us gals. I brought Leah and Amber home with me and I am taking them back on Monday and spending the night. I needed some Leah time. Tonight after church, we took Leah to Ronnie's Burgers (her fav. place) and while we were there she was so cute running around getting her some ice cream and she got to make her first coke :) She was walking around with her ice cream and Ronnie passed by her and she said "Excuse me I'm eating my ice cream" lol
These moments are priceless! I will post pics of her soon as well as a recent senior session. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

2010

My New Year Resolutions are to love deeper and laugh harder, to get spiritually and naturally fit. One of the things I would really like to do would be take Leah to visit the elderly at the retirement homes. I used to take my kids when they were younger because I think it teaches them alot of things, one, that life does eventually come to an end and how you live it is very important and two, because it is such a selfless act, three because the elderly's eyes light up when they see the face of a child, four, because we might be able to lead them to Jesus right before they cross over into eternity. I want to be more giving of myself to my friends, loved ones and even my enemies. I want to be able to look beyond the faults of my enemies and see their needs because that is what my saviour has done for me :) I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and may God bless you all!

This year Ronnie will be opening a new business right next to Ronnie's Burgers. The name of it will be Addison's Ice Cream Parlor. It was named after Leah Addison :) We are super excited about this. Once we get it opened and get everyone trained, we will be offering birthday parties there for kids. Their will be different party packages, one which will include me as the photographer capturing all your child's fun. More details coming soon so stayed tuned. Happy New Year everyone!!!

The Merriest Christmas Ever!!!

Kyle got what he wanted. He almost cried, he was so happy!

We got to spend Christmas morning all together as a family. Amber and Joel and Leah drove down in the middle of the Blizzard and made it. Took them around 7 hours to get from Dallas!

I have been wanting to post these so bad, but I have been swamped! We have so many things going on right now including a house full of people. Here are a few from my Ohio wedding. I have tons more and will have to put them on later. I will probably have to do three different blogs on this wedding. It was beautiful!!! Happy Birthday

Ronnie turned 43 on Monday. We had a very nice day together.I have been with him since he was 19 years old. We have grown up together. I love and appreciate him more everyday! I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Ronnie, I love you!

I didn't want the traditional Christmas wreath this year so I came up with this. The greenery is fresh and I got it from Sam's. They sell it for 13.38 for 25 ft . I thought it was a really good deal, so that is what I used this year. We are excited about Christmas! Hope every one has a great one. Now I have to go get ready for my Ohio wedding :)

Beautiful Leah Bear

I want to take this time to thank Dawn and Michael and Jessica and Kyle who have booked their 2010 weddings with me. I also want to announce that I will not be doing the Bridal Show this year. I have done it 5 years in a row and I have decided to take a break from it this year for different reasons. One being that I already have 8 weddings booked for next year and 2 because we are opening another business and my photography will be involved in that on Saturdays as well. I will still be taking calls for weddings and will do them if my schedule allows. Eight weddings may not sound like a lot to some but remember, I work on my own, I book the wedding consultations then I meet with the Bride then I do their engagements, bridals, wedding, edit the pics, upload the pics, design the album and deliver the album, all on my own, so I am limited to how many I can take on. I promise to take as many as I can since weddings are my passion. I hope to stay around 15 weddings a year. I photographed 35 last year and it was very overwhelming. I am always excited to meet the Brides and see their dreams as they unfold on their special day. This year a Bride is flying me to Ohio and next year I have a bride who is flying me to El Paso. I love this job because you never know where you are going to get to go and who you are going to meet. Thanks to all of my past, present and future Brides who have trusted me with their special day. I am looking forward to 2010 :)

Photography Class

The Photography Class is set up for, Tuesday, Novemeber 17th at 6:00 p.m. I already have 8 signed up for sure with a few more "maybes" I am so excited about this class. There will be refreshments and a short quiz afterwards. For all of you who have signed up, please remember to bring your camera and a notebook and pen so that you can take notes. Remember if you are having a problem with the cost, then you can bring a friend and get in 2 for the price of one.

Busy!

I am so busy with so many things right now. I just met with the couple who are flying me out to Ohio for their wedding this evening. It is going to be a beautiful wedding and I can't wait! I am also meeting with 4 other Brides next week and then lots of family portraits coming up.

Besides photography business, I am also getting things ready for our upcoming Christmas Banquet for our Church family. And then you have the "new business adventure" that Ronnie and I are working on (super excited about that)! Also I am teaching a photography class this month. I just decided to do that because I am wanting to raise some money for our Church, so I will post more details soon on the time and date for this class. I posted it on Face Book and I could not believe the response of e-mails and comments of people who are interested. So many people have SLR camera but not a clue how to operate them properly. This class will show you how to use your camera in manual mode and all the money earned will go straight into our Church so that we can have the funds to do the things we need to have done to have our Christmas banquet :) If you are interested, leave me a comment or give me a call @ (940) 689-9487

Remodeling Soon :)

We are remodeling our kitchen in March. The whole kitchen is going to be ripped out and we will have an empty space just to start all over. Our kitchen cabinets are pretty white wash. We had a new face put on them in 2000 but they are really very old and falling apart, they were put in the year of 1984 so it is definitely time to update. I have a few ideas in mind that I think I want but still haven't made my final decision. When we have this done we are also going to put fresh paint in the dining room and we are ripping out the remaining carpet and finishing up the house with hard wood floors. After I get the hardwood floors in my bedroom, this is the rug that I want to go under my bed, unless I find one that I like better. This is the style I am looking for, something feminine and shabby chic. I am so excited to get this process started and will be even more excited to get it finished. We love keeping the house in tip top shape and decorating it. It will be paid off in 5 years and after we pay it off, our plan is to purchase a lake house. I want a house by the lake that is around 1500 sq. feet that has a very country feel to it. I am going to fill that house with nothing but authentic country things, like flea market finds and quilts and antiques. We want to have a boat, a couple of jet skies, lots of fishing and camping equipment so that we can get away without really having to go too far. This house will also be for family and church gatherings . I am looking forward to having it for the holidays also. The wheels of our lives are put in motion by the love and togetherness of family and friends that God has blessed us with. We have made so many wonderful memories through the years and look forward to making many more.

Leah ADDISON

We are so excited! Ronnie and I are expanding our business but it is a surprise. I will give you some hints though, it includes ice cream, kids and Leah's middle name :) I am going to be helping him with this because I think it will be a lot of fun and my photography will play a big part in it too. That's all I can say but be on the look out for new and exciting thing COMING SOON!

A family that prays together stays together

Meet the wonderful Stone family. This was Mr. Stone's 80Th birthday party. He was so sweet, instead of gifts he asked that people bring food for the food drive. They were all so nice and I could not believe the people that kept showing up. They were such a wonderful Christan family and such a joy to work with, Thanks Pam for allowing me to photograph this event :)

Little Red Riding Hood

Amber bought Leah this Little Red Riding Hood costume and wanted to take her out. I don't like Halloween with all the scarey monsters and witches etc. but I told Amber about Heritage Assembly of God. They had live singers singing Praise and worship songs and had fun games for the kids as well as candy. Leah went with her cousins, Austen and Callee and they had a ball. Here are some photos from their fun night. Thanks Heritage for offering a safe place for the kiddos with good positive music :)

(Thanks James) Ice cream compliments of Ronnie Burgers . She was here for a week and is now back in Dallas but will be back for her cousin, Abby's birthday/tea party which we are VERY excited about. Me and my brother and our families are just having way too much fun with these gals! Wouldn't the world be sad without kids ?

I like this pic too. She was watching cartoons. I have a window in my office that lets in the most beautiful light. Natural light is the best!

This is Taylor. This is her senior year at Wichita Falls High School.
